The art-project was successful

At the day of the enlargement of the European Union  people opened in 44 countries 10 000 sunshades /umbrellas. 

For peace in Europe and in the world!

The art-project of "more-umbrellas" expresses the readiness for respectful cooperation, for peace and for communication in a new Europe of the future. During the world is shocked by terror and war, artists take a sign for peace and friendship  in europe and in the world.

On an area of over 10 000 000 km² on 1 May 2004 sunshades will open. Sunshades in over 5,000 km distance will open at the same time, for example in Finland and Greece.

Better than CHRISTO!

On 9. October 1991 CHRISTO opened in Asia 1340 umbrellas and in America 1760 umbrellas. In Europe no umbrella was opened.

The project "more umbrellas" is carried out for a new Europe. WERNER: As an European artist I wanted that umbrellas were opened in Europe. On Mai the 1^st, european people and artists catapult Europe at place 1 in this category!"
